This special event raises funds for Jefferson R-7 families facing illness or tragedy and helps support multiple senior scholarships each year. Due to updated information from the National Weather Service and changing weather conditions, the Jefferson R-VII School District will dismiss early at 1:30pm today with all parent pickups starting at 1:30pm. All Preschool and Kids Korner students need to be picked up by 3pm. All evening activities are canceled.

On Wednesday, November 13th, the Jefferson R-VII District received a generous donation of $2,700 for outstanding lunch balances from the Order of the Eastern Star. Members of the Order of the Eastern Star held a fundraiser earlier this fall to benefit school districts in Jefferson County. Our district appreciates the Order of the Eastern Star's support of our families in Jefferson County

R-7 Fire Department has inspected the building & confirmed no evidence of fire or emergency pull alarms have been activated. At this time it appears to be a false alarm & we are working with the alarm company. All students are back in class & we appreciate everyone's cooperation.

R7 Community: The fire alarm has gone off at Danby Middle School, there has been no visible smoke or fire, R-7 Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the alarm. All staff and students have been evacuated and are safe.
