High School Band
On Saturday, November 5 , the All-District High School Honor Band performed a concert at Sullivan High School. The band was under the direction of Dr. Joseph Parisi who is a professor at the UMKC Conservatory where he conducts the Conservatory Wind Ensemble. The students rehearsed all day with Dr. Parisi and presented a concert later that evening in front of a packed house. Congratulations to Cole Van for performing with the band!
High School Choir
On Saturday November 19, the East Central All-District High School Choir performed a concert at Rickman Auditorium on the Fox C-6 Campus. The Choir had a great day under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Allen Murdock, 2021 GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year. Dr. Murdock is internationally known as a conductor, clinician, and music educator at the University of Arkansas.The students rehearsed all day with Dr.Murdock and presented a concert that afternoon to a packed audience. Congratulations to Mason Campbell and Maseo Mercer for auditioning and being selected to participate in this fine ensemble!
