Mr. Jason Dowd was proudly recognized as Jefferson R-VII School District's December R-VII Advocate. Mr. Dowd has supported the District for many years through his involvement as a Board of Education member, a Blue Jay Foundation supporter, and a consistent advocate for student programs. His contributions have been instrumental throughout the transition from a K-8 district to the K-12 district it is today. From the early development of the high school to the continued growth across academic and extracurricular programs, his leadership and generosity have made a lasting impact.
In addition to his service and charitable support, Mr. Dowd has been a strong supporter of student activities, including shooting sports programs. His dedication has always been focused on ensuring students have opportunities to succeed and that their basic needs are met.
Mr. Dowd is known for his quiet leadership and genuine concern for students, often working behind the scenes without seeking recognition. The District is grateful for his time, support, and unwavering advocacy for students and families.
