During the October 15, 2025 Board Meeting, the following honoree was recognized:

He works quietly behind the scenes to support the school community and ensure that the needs of children always comes first. His involvement with the Blue Jay Foundation and other community groups reflects his genuine commitment to helping others.
Those who work with Mr. Leon describe him as well-informed, respectful, and unafraid to ask the right questions. The plaque presented reads: "In appreciation of your contributions to the Blue Jay Foundation and charitable efforts for the students of the Jefferson R-VII School District."
