Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP)
The Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) provides all K-12 students with equitable access to a wide range of high-quality online educational courses through accredited providers. Students at the Jefferson R-VII School District may request online courses through the Acellus Academy by contacting the building principal and counselor. Requests can be denied if the enrollment is not in the best interest of the student.
District approval is not required if students and parents choose to participate in a full-time virtual program offered by a MOCAP Hosted Provider. Families must contact a MOCAP full-time provider to enroll their students. The Jefferson R-VII School District will receive an enrollment notification from the provider and the student(s) will be unenrolled from the Jefferson R-VII School District.
